My beautiful wedding gown just sits in my wardrobe in a dust bag, which I find so sad as it bought me so much joy & happiness. The gown is a one piece strapless sheath dress with boned corset giving a beautiful fit and silhouette. Ivory lace over antique gold satin, flaring slightly at the bottom.The overall look is of a soft Ivory and is stunning. Ribbon lace overlays de lustred satin and is adorned with intricate bead work using seed and bugle beads, mostly pearls. The crystal and pearl beadwork adds weight to the gown and ensures perfect drape. The bottom of the dress is delicately scalloped and elegantly finished with a sweep train, which can be hooked onto a button hidden in the back, perfect for your first dance... The back of the dress is buttoned, with tiny satin covered buttons adding to the timeless look. The dress has been altered to fit me, size 8-10 and 5"4. The dress is less flared out as I wanted a closer fitting style. I wore a mid heel shoe of around three inches which complemented the dress perfectly, although a stiletto would also work if extra height is needed. This gown is the perfect mix of classic and modern, and you are guaranteed to feel like a princess, as I did. The dress has been professionally cleaned and boxed, and comes wrapped in acid free tissue to protect the delicate materials. Originally costing £800, I am open to offers.
