This is a stunning ivory Dupion silk wedding dress. I fell in love with the style and it was made specially to fit me at size 24, so it really is unique. It is full length with a slight train, has a fitted bodice, slashed puff sleeves, full skirt with integral lining and lace petticoats. It has beautiful metallic embroidery of flowers and leaves on the bodice, sleeves, and the huge decorative bow at the rear. I have only worn the dress once and can honestly say that for a 'big girl' I felt wonderfully special in it. I would recommend that it was professionally cleaned - cost should be about £50. The bodice of the dress has side panels which would allow for easy alteration if required. There is a 4 tier veil that goes with the dress. The longest tier reaches to the ground, the shortest can be used to cover the face if desired. It has scalloped edges and is studded with tiny pearls.
